Duterte boasts of himself as a strong man, intimidating the Filipino people with brute force and with the most abusive language and is actually establishing a fascist dictatorship through Con-Ass and Cha-Cha. But he is a complete coward and puppet vis a vis China by selling out cheap the sovereign rights of the Philippines and the Filipino people over the rich mineral and marine resources of the West Philippine Sea, Panatag Shoal and Benham Rise.

With or without Duterte as president, the GRP will decide to negotiate peace when the people´s war can inflict larger casualties on enemy troops.

A new major war of resistance is practically brewing among the Maranaos and Iranons who call Dutete Duti or poison.

The Saudi Arabia aggression started in March 2015 to re-install the puppet regime of Abed-Rabbu Mansour Hadi which was overthrown by Houthi rebels that seized Sana’a, the Yemeni capital in 2014. They seek to generate hysteria against the CPP and NPA and likewise against all legal opposition groups, social activists, critics, the churches, press and others being accused of destabilizing the tyrannical regime.

In Marawi City, the broad masses of the people derisively call Duterte DUTI or poison in the local language for having proclaimed martial law and having brought death and destruction to them, to their homes and livelihood and for placing them in humiliation, hunger, disease and grave difficulties in flimsy refugee centers and in dread of never being able to return to their former homes and lots due to the re–designation of the city as a military reservation as in colonial times and due to the certainty that if there would be any rehabilitation fund or projects these would favor only a few corporate, dynastic and bureaucrat allies of Duterte.

It is wrong for Duterte to say sweepingly that they are all communists or they are mere facade of communists. They act legally and pursue an anti-imperialist and democratic line. And they constitute themselves as a broad united front of forces for national sovereignty and democracy against puppetry, tyranny and corruption. They include people from various walks of life and represent different schools or currents of thought and belief.

Duterte is definitely dazed by Fentanyl for imagining that he can destroy the NPA while he is rapidly discredited and isolated by his own drive for fascist dictatorship and has far less ability and resources than Marcos to maintain authoritarian rule.

The ILPS supports the Kurdish people’s struggle for national self-determination and their aspiration for a democratic self-administration in Rojava-Northern Syria. Even under the conditions of civil war, the people of Rojava successfully held a referendum in which they overwhelmingly expressed their desire to establish a Democratic Federalism of Northern Syria within a unified federal Syria with equal rights among the different ethnic groups in Rojava-Northern Syria: Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Assyrians, Armenians, Turkmen, Circassians, and Chechens.
