Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Maria “Joma” Sison on Wednesday slammed the new matrix released by Malacañang linking several individuals and institutions to a plot to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.

Sison, the chief political consultant of the National Democratic Front, claimed in a statement Tuesday that the entire operational and command structure of the New People’s Army (NPA) was rejecting Duterte’s offer for localized negotiations.

He used the drug issue to deceive many of those who voted for him in 2016 and to impress the public that he was a strong man and a decisive leader.
