Since its founding upon its First International Assembly in Zutphen, The Netherlands from May 25 to 27, the International League of Peoples’ Struggle (ILPS) has grown in strength and proven itself as a reliable force of the people of the world in their struggle for greater freedom, democracy, social justice, all-round development and International solidarity against imperialism and all reaction.

There are five general requisites for building the socialist future. First, learn from the historical experience of the revolutionary proletariat in building socialism in the 20th century. Second, grasp the potential for socialist revolution in various countries in the current circumstances. Third, build the subjective forces of the revolution, such as the revolutionary party of the proletariat, the mass organizations, effective alliances, the people’s army or self- defense units, and the organs of political power.

Sison continues to enrich, deepen, and contribute valuably to the dialectical materialist analysis of the current world crisis of imperialism as well as the developing revolutionary conditions in the Philippines.

Assange has earned the ire of the US for exposing the truth about US behind-the-scenes machinations in its drive to carry out foreign interventions and launch wars of aggression for regime change and economic plunder.

The International Organization of Migration defines forced migration as “a migratory movement in which an element of coercion exists, including threats to life and and livelihood, whether arising from natural or man-made causes (e.g. movements of refugees and internally displaced persons as well as people displaced by natural or environmental disasters, chemical or nuclear disasters, famine, or development projects)”

The absurd presumption is that extreme poverty would be reduced by giving free rein to the development of market-oriented solutions to address challenges such as climate change, migration and forced displacement, global health, and war and violence.

The Rohingyas have long faced systematic military repression under the social-fascist (socialist in words, fascist in deeds) dictatorship of Ne Win (1962-88) and again after the 1988 uprising with repeated military crackdowns in 1991–1992, 2012, 2015 and 2016–2017. Over the past 50 years, Burma’s military rulers have enabled state and large corporations to take over land and water supplies in what used to territory of the ancient Kingdom of Arakan before it was incorporated into Burma under British colonial rule.

The great Lenin extended and developed the theory and practice of Marxism to that of Marxism-Leninism in the era of modern imperialism and proletarian revolution. He led the Bolsheviks and the people in turning the inter-imperialist World War I into a revolutionary civil war, thus overthrowing Tsarism through the February 1917 revolution and subsequently the bourgeois Kerensky government in the Great October Socialist Revolution. All power passed on to the soviets of workers, peasants and soldiers, which led to the establishment of the Soviet Union on one-sixth of the surface of the earth.

When the time comes that socialism is dominant on a global scale as a result of the defeat and end of imperialism, the way would become wide open for reaching the stage of communism on the basis of the achievements of socialist revolution and construction.
