Friday Flashback: Photo of Prof. Jose Maria Sison with Kin Gatbonton (daughter of close friend Johnny Gat) and Julie de Lima at St. Anthony’s College of Oxford University (world-renowned center of studies on global issues) after Prof. Sison delivered a lecture to the graduate students on Philippine and Southeast Asian issues on March 13, 1987.

I promised to Dr. Anne van Mackelenbergh to stop smoking after three decades of smoking. I signed a pledge while she pointed a “gun” at my head, with everyone around laughing.
