Communist leader Jose Maria Sison wants goodwill measures from the Philippine government before agreeing to the resumption of peace negotiations

He said the signing of the IPA would contribute to the success of the talks and add to mutual confidence-building measures.

In this exclusive interview, Sison said that despite all that the Government of the Republic of the Philippines did to the negotiations, he said he hopes Duterte may soon be “enlightened”.

“Now, Duterte looks like a fool, pasinto-sinto, by firing her after only two weeks,”
