FULL TEXT OF INTERVIEW WITH PROF. JOSE MARIA SISON

He finds it useless to negotiate peace with the NDFP because that would be running counter to his scheme of fascist dictatorship and using the CPP and NPA as scapegoats for a nationwide martial law proclamation. He has not followed the requirement in JASIG to give to the NDFP a written notice of termination 30 days in advance obviously to show contempt for the NDFP and the entire revolutionary movement as well as the peace process and the agreements that it has produced.

I think that he finds it useful to terminate the peace negotiations with the NDFP, slander the CPP and NPA as terrorist, keep in reserve the explicit proclamation of nationwide martial law, escalate Oplan Kapayapaan and Oplan Tokhang and utilize Oplan Pacific-Eagle-Philippines as his means of intimidation and mass murder to ensure the railroading, ratification and enforcement of his pseudo-federal constitution for the sham legitimation of his fascist dictatorship.

INTERVIEW WITH PROF. J0SE MARIA SISON: ON DUTERTE THREAT TO DESTROY LEFTIST GROUPS

It is wrong for Duterte to say sweepingly that they are all communists or they are mere facade of communists. They act legally and pursue an anti-imperialist and democratic line. Duterte on resuming talks with NDF: he and Sison should talk

Asked if branding the CPP-NPA as a “terrorist organization” will solve the problem, Duterte admitted it won’t. “No, but it can lessen their number,” he said.

Sison agrees to 1-on-1 meeting with Duterte

“In the interest of the Filipino people and for the sake and purpose of resuming the peace negotiations, I am willing to have serious conversations with President Duterte,” Sison said. “It would indeed be a waste if we would not interface even once, considering the success of the four rounds of formal talks since 2016.”

IMPLICATIONS AND CONSEQUENCES OF PROCLAMATION 374 TO PROSCRIBE THE CPP-NPA AS ´TERRORIST´ ORGANIZATIONS

As revolutionary forces, the CPP, NPA and the toiling masses of workers and peasants build their own revolutionary democratic government (organs of political power) against the reactionary government of big compradors, landlords and corrupt burreaucrats represented by Duterte. On this principled basis, the CPP and NPA cannot and will not enter the court of the reactionary government to participate in proceedings.
