You have contributed significantly to the international assemblies and other major events of the ILPS and have promoted the anti-imperialist and democratic united front and militant struggles of the peoples of the world.

Angkop na buksan ninyo ang selebrasyon sa pamamagitan ng mobilisasyon sa harap ng US embassy sa Setyembre 11, at sa gabi nito naman may mga kultural na pagtatanghal kasama ang mga pambansang minorya sa Lakbayan 2017. At magtipon ang mga alumni para magbahaginan ng mga karanasan at aral. Mahalagang sa Setyembre 12 ilulunsad ninyo ang mga propaganda workshop at usapin tungkol sa K-12 program at ang pagsasanay sa pagsusulat, pagtalumpati at propagandang biswal.

Sa ilang nakaraang taon, umabot na sa aking kaalaman ang maraming mabuti at magiting na gawain ni Ka Ateng (Sister Cecilia C. Ruiz) para sa masang inaapi, mahirap at pinagkaitan. Isang karangalan at ikinagagalak ko nang nakadaupangpalad ko, nayakap at nakausap ko siya sa kanyang pagdalaw sa Utrecht, kasama si Ka Aurora Santiago, byuda ng matagal at malapit kong kasama sa pakikibaka na si Ka Willem Geertman, dakilang kadre ng uring proletaryo, rebolusyonaryong bayani at martir ng mga anakpawis ng Pilipinas at buong daigdig.

The National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) has received reports from several sources in the reactionary Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) that military officers who are assets of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and are close to AFP chief of staff Eduardo Año are engaged in a two-stage plot to assassinate Jose Maria Sison, NDFP chief political consultant, and subsequently to overthrow President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

Duterte’s tirades against Prof. Jose Ma. Sison are a vain attempt to derogate a giant of a revolutionary intellectual and leader. In relentlessly attacking Ka Joma, Duterte is overcompensating for his drug-shrivelled and power-intoxicated brain. He has completely embraced the counterrevolutionary anti-communist US line and abandoned all pretensions for being a Leftist.

A human rights lawyer described the resurrection of the accusation calling Prof. Jose Maria Sison the brains of the August 21, 1971 Plaza Miranda bombing a canard or an unfounded story.

Duterte is a coward through and through. He has backed out from his previous public threats to kill his own compadre the Cebu-based drug lord Peter Lim and Governor Espino of Pangasinan and General Garbo whom he accused of protecting the biggest drug syndicates.
