The CPP said the “recent propaganda blitzkrieg, orchestrated by Defense Sec. Delfin Lorenzana’s fraud-filled message in a vain attempt to discredit the Party and revolutionary forces, sow confusion and justify increasingly militarist and repressive measures against the people.”

“At this point in time, it is Duterte and his regime that needs the peace negotiation. It is not us. He needs something to recover to the… you know the downslide of the so-called popularity,” National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) chief negotiator Fidel Agcaoili said in a Skype conference.

Sison, now chief political consultant of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines, claimed that some AFP officers are concerned that President Rodrigo Duterte is a “traitor” who is “selling out” what has been won by the country in the 2011 arbitration case against China.

“How comfortable can I go to the Philippines? There are so many assassinations even of government officials. And the President is gleeful by a mayor of Tanauan is murdered by only expert riflemen from the police and the army,” he said.

In his statement, Lorenzana reveals that if I return to the Philippines everything will be used against me, including charges that I have previously defeated in court and outright false claims against me.

It is Duterte and his close relatives who must explain why the drug problem has become worse, why Peter Lim and Peter Co have gone scotfree despite Duterte´s braggart statement that he would kill Peter Lim and despite the fact that no one has been arrested and indicted for the smuggling of shabu worth 6.4 billion pesos, except for the token arrest and detention of a poor bodeguero.
